Job Summary

The FP&A Supervisor is responsible for leading financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities to support business decisions and ensure the financial health of the organization. This role provides insights into operational performance and collaborates with management to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for the manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, including variances, trends, and KPIs.
  • Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Review cost structures, manufacturing efficiency, and profitability by product line or department.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Production, Engineering, Sales) to gather data and ensure accuracy of financial information.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Mentor and guide FP&A analysts or junior finance team members.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field. MBA is an advantage.
  • At least 3–5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, preferably in manufacturing or electronics industry.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead a small team and coordinate with multiple departments.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in cost accounting or manufacturing finance.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement concepts is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
