Accounting Analyst II

Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines Remitly Full time ₱900,000 - ₱1,200,000 per year

Performs revenue accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and revenue, royalties, bank and AR schedules. Prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles. Provides financial support, including forecasting, budgeting and analyzing variations from budget. Analyzes and prepares statutory accounts, financial statements and reports. Conducts or assists in the documentation of accounting projects. Developing professional role with working knowledge in own discipline. Solves a range of routine problems. Demonstrates some proficiency with concepts and processes. Analyses possible solutions using standard procedures. Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction from more senior level roles.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 2+ years of experience in an accounting or financial analyst role

  • Experience in General Accounting and R2R (P&L Analysis and Balance Sheet Reconciliation)

  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
