Ayala Alabang, National Capital Region, Philippines ASCOF Construction Inc. Full time ₱20,000 - ₱25,000 per year

We are searching for a talented SAFETY OFFICER to join our capable team of professionals. You will be tasked to maintain an organized and safe act and condition in project site.

Duties and responsibilities:

· Implements and ensures that the regulatory safety requirements of DOLE-BWC Department Order No.13 are satisfactory and consistently met at site.

· Conducts investigation of injury to personnel, loss or damage to property including near misses to determine causes and recommends corrective measures to prevent recurrence.

· Stops any operation or action that is judged an imminent hazard until the hazardous conditions or procedures are controlled or eliminated.

· Prepares and submits all safety reports required by the Project Manager and the Customer.

· Makes inspection and spot check covering unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and observance of safety rules and regulations.

· Ensures peace and order, security and cleanliness at project site.

· Ensures that all construction debris, chemical containers and garbage at site are disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.

· Coordinates with all site supervisors to include those of the trade contractors regarding safety and health requirements at site.

· Acts as a liaison officer to government and private agencies on matters pertaining to construction safety and health at site.

· Experience in documentation, writing reports and policies for Occupational Health and Safety program design and implementation.

· Performs other duties that maybe assigned from time to time.

Requirements and qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree

· 2 years of experience in construction industry.

· Proven experience as a Safety Officer.

· Must be OSH, BOSH and COSH certified

· Must be physically fit

· Strong documentation skills

· Strong organizational skills

· Good communication skills

· Computer literate

· Willing to be assigned to different project locations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Alabang: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:

  • 100% (Preferred)
