THE OPPORTUNITY

Our partner is a leading organization in the food and grain processing industry, backed by one of the world's largest diversified food and retail groups. With operations spanning over 50 countries and a global workforce of more than 130,000 employees, they are driven by a mission to deliver safe, nutritious, and affordable food products.

To support their growing operations, they are seeking a Network Engineer (CCNA level or higher) to join their Network Operations team. This role is critical in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of GWF's enterprise network. You will play a key part in both operational support and project delivery, working closely with the Network Architect and IS Operations Infrastructure Manager.

This position will work full time in our office (BGC, Taiguig City) during the first month, and follow hybrid work setup (2 days in the office per week) after this time. Working hours from 6 AM to 3 PM every Monday to Friday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and resolve complex network incidents and problems, ensuring timely closure and clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Proactively improve service levels by monitoring network performance, identifying issues, and driving long-term solutions.
  • Perform regular checks, documentation updates, and maintain asset registers for all network infrastructure.
  • Ensure network software upgrades, licenses, and support agreements are up to date.
  • Collaborate with the Network Architect to design, document, and maintain standardised network configurations.
  • Support change management processes by preparing and presenting network-related CRs to the CAB.
  • Deliver incident response for security events in collaboration with Security and Architecture teams.
  • Participate in projects, baseline analysis, capacity planning, and implementation of new technologies (e.g., Cisco SD-WAN, SD-Access, DNA Centre).
  • Provide on-call support on a rotational basis.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

  • CCNA certification (or higher) with proven hands-on experience in enterprise networking.
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies including routers, switches, wireless, ASA/Firepower firewalls, and Viptela SD-WAN.
  • Familiarity with BGP, OMP, ISIS, Radius, MPLS, and internet carrier services.
  • Experience with monitoring and management platforms (e.g., SolarWinds, Lansweeper, Firepower Management Centre, vManage, Zscaler, Netscaler).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve complex network incidents.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
