Job Description:

  • Manage and supervise the Accounting Department, including but not limited to business financial and accounting processes, records and taxation.
  • Lead and manage the preparation of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, cash flow and other accounting related reports.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and government regulations.
  • Monitor and implement internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
  • Deliver financial analysis and recommendations to support business strategies.
  • Facilitates annual financial statement and coordinate with external auditor for annual BIR and SEC filing.
  • Mentor and develop accounting staff to achieve department goals. Always ensure the accounting systems and practices are up-to-date and in compliance to government agencies accordingly.
  • Other functions and responsibilities necessary for efficient operation of the department and beneficial to the company.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA license preferred but not required.
  • At least with minimum five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant experience and at least two (2) to three (3) in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, taxation, BIR, and SEC compliance.
  • Proficient in accounting system/software (any) and MS excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments.
  • High attention to detail, integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Flexible and willing to travel for business assignments as needed.
