Job Summary:
The Senior High School Principal serves as the chief administrator of the Senior High School department, overseeing academic programs, faculty performance, student services, and school operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of the K-12 curriculum, maintaining compliance with Department of Education (DepEd) policies, and fostering a positive and productive learning environment. The Principal provides strong leadership in curriculum development, faculty supervision, student discipline, and school-community relations. Additionally, the role involves strategic planning, resource management, and implementation of programs that promote academic excellence, holistic student development, and organizational growth.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement SHS curriculum in compliance with DepEd standards.
- Monitor teaching quality and ensure effective learning outcomes.
- Oversee student assessment, performance monitoring, and interventions.
- Supervise faculty and staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Manage budgets, facilities, and resources for the SHS department.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and government regulations.
- Promote student welfare and discipline through policies and programs.
- Oversee extracurricular activities and student organizations.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the community.
Job Requirements:
- Must be a Licensed Professional Teacher (LET passer).
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field (Master's Degree in Educational Management/Administration or related discipline preferred).
- At least 4-5 years of teaching experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of K-12 Senior High School curriculum and DepEd policies, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Proven leadership, decision-making, and organizational management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to develop and implement academic programs, faculty development initiatives, and student discipline systems.
- Strong background in school operations, budget management, and resource allocation.
- Open to work onsite.
