  • Prepare and submit import and export customs declarations in accordance with national and international customs regulations.
  • Ensure all shipments comply with customs, trade, and transport laws.
  • Verify shipping documents (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.) for accuracy and completeness.
  • Classify goods accurately and determine applicable duties and taxes.
  • Liaise with customs officials, freight forwarders, transport companies, and clients to resolve any clearance issues or delays.
  • Monitor shipment status and proactively follow up on pending clearances.
  • Assist in maintaining up-to-date knowledge of customs legislation, tariff changes, and trade agreements.
  • Support logistics teams in ensuring smooth and compliant import/export operations.

  • Participate in internal audits and continuous process improvements to enhance customs efficiency.

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a customs or logistics role (freight forwarding, shipping, import/export).

  • Familiarity with Incoterms and tariff classifications.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and authorities.
