  • Prepare and submit accurate import and export customs declarations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant customs regulations, trade laws, and company policies.
  • Communicate with customs authorities and other regulatory bodies as necessary.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, brokers, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and inspections.
  • Monitor changes in customs regulations and advise management accordingly.
  • Resolve customs issues and delays effectively and efficiently.
  • Support internal teams with customs-related inquiries and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a customs declarant or similar role in logistics or international trade.
  • In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, procedures, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with tariff classifications and duty/tax calculations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in customs software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
