  • Compliance: Electricians ensure that all electrical work complies with local and national safety regulations, including the National Electric Code.
  • Inspection: They inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, to ensure proper functioning and safety.
  • Customer Interaction: Electricians often communicate with clients to discuss project details, provide estimates, and explain the work performed.
  • Perform maintenance and light repairs
  • Undertake light installation or carpenting (e.g. build cabinets)
  • Repair equipment or appliances
  • Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs
  • Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks (e.g. shoveling snow)
  • Identify and report the need for major repairs
