As a Information Security Specialist, you will:

As an Information Security Specialist, youu0027ll be responsible for a range of critical functions to safeguard our information assets and ensure compliance. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Access Control Management: Managing and maintaining access controls for IT systems and applications to ensure appropriate user permissions and data segregation.
  • Security Control Assessment & Improvement: Assessing and continuously improving existing IT security controls and developing robust security policies and procedures to strengthen our defense mechanisms.
  • Threat Monitoring & Incident Support: Contributing to the implementation of audit recommendations and actively monitoring security threats to help proactively identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Responsible for identifying and reducing security risks through assessments, regulatory adherence, and policy enforcement. This involves regularly auditing systems,
    tracking vulnerabilities and supporting incident response.
  • Security Awareness & Training: Supporting the creation and dissemination of engaging security awareness materials to foster a security-conscious culture within the organization.
  • Technology Evaluation & Problem Solving: Analyzing data to solve complex security problems and evaluating new technologies to ensure they meet information governance and compliance standards.
What you need:
  • Graduate of bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Have at least 1-2 years of progressive experience in Information Security, including responsibilities in Security Operations (especially incident management), compliance, data protection, security auditing,
    and risk management. Experience within the BPO industry is a plus
  • Familiar with different regulations and standards related to information security and data protection (e.g. ISO 27001 ISMS, PCI-DSS, COBIT, etc.)
  • Possession of professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISM or CISA) is a strong advantage
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Analytical and team management skills are a must.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills
