nXscale provides flexible outsourcing solutions for startups and scaleups. We partner with global companies to help them build teams and scale operations.

Our client is an Australian graphic design platform that is used to create social media graphics and presentations. The app includes readymade templates for users to use. Their platform is a go-to place for all design needs on the web.

Working closely with the SEO team, this is a rare opportunity for copyeditors accustomed to working independently and are looking to develop their craft by challenging themselves creatively. For every landing page, we need a high-quality copy to match. The right candidate should be able to adapt to the client's tone and voice, help ensure that the copywriters' work incorporates SEO optimizations in addition to being engaging and useful to the user, and work independently while meeting a deadline.

What you will do:

  • Edit and quality check different forms of SEO content such as landing page copies, item page copies, and SEO articles.
  • Ensure that copywriters' works are unique, engaging, and SEO-optimized.
  • Ensure each output adheres to the specified word count and SEO requirements.
  • Ensure that copies and articles are adapted to the client's friendly and informative tone.
  • Proofread text and edit text at various stages of the writing process and in response to feedback from the SEO content team.
  • Give timely and useful feedback to individual copywriters.
  • Consistently meet the required minimum output by the specified deadline.
  • Collaborate with a creative team of writers, graphic designers, and others.

Who you are:

  • You have a mastery of spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors and the ability to make constructive suggestions.
  • You are meticulous with details, style, and tone, writing with clarity and empathy to deliver what is needed.
  • You have the ability to remain detailed-oriented and focused when processing large amounts of text.
  • You have an eye for social trends and the evolving language that comes with them.
  • You are able to understand a brief from stakeholders, research accordingly, and help convert that brief into excellent template copy to meet the project's needs by editing and quality checking others' work.
  • Willing to work on a hybrid set up
