About the Client

Founded in 1953 and headquartered in Charlotte, NC, our client is a privately held distributor specializing in fasteners and Class-C items. They offer customized supply chain and materials management solutions to industries including automotive, commercial, military, and industrial markets. With services such as dock-to-stock and line-side delivery, our client operates across the U.S. and Mexico, focusing on cost reduction, quality, and customer service to support production, aftermarket, and MRO needs for some of the world's largest manufacturers.

About the Role

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible to comply with all company policies and procedures including Health, Safety and Quality Assurance policies, process timely and accurate payables and maintain good working relationships with vendors, and enhance the department and organization reputation by taking ownership of responsibilities.

• Work hours: 9AM-5PM EST | 9PM - 5PM Philippine Time
• Work set-up: Remote

What you'll do

• Voucher PO invoices and expense invoices for payment.
• Ensure all invoices have valid receipts, including quantity and pricing details.
• Process credit and debit memos.
• Monitor AP-Invoice mailbox and communicate with vendors to answer questions and resolve issues.
• Assist with month end duties.
• Review vendor statements for missing invoices and issues.
• Update daily inventory report.
• Send a Daily Sales Report to the bank.
• Sorting invoices in Enlighten document storage software for approvals and entry.
• Reconcile payments in the bank-to-accounting software and process bank journal entries.
• Participate in special projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams and departments to resolve any accounting-related issues.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

What You Bring

• 2-3 years of Accounts Payable experience. Experience in related industry a plus.
• Experience in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong computer, data entry, and calculating skills.
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong time management skills.
• Strong English communication skills.
