Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to manage invoice processing and disbursement operations using Xero accounting software. The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial record-keeping while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Key ResponsibilitiesInvoice Processing

  • Process supplier invoices in Xero accounting system with precision and efficiency
  • Verify the accuracy of invoice details, including amounts, vendor information, and supporting documentation
  • Apply proper coding and categorization in accordance with company's chart of accounts
  • Ensure all invoices comply with established internal policies and procedures
  • Maintain high standards for processing accuracy and timeliness

Disbursement Management

  • Prepare comprehensive Disbursement Vouchers for all payment transactions
  • Record disbursements accurately in Xero following established approval workflows
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure proper authorization before payment release
  • Monitor and track payment schedules to ensure timely disbursement processing
  • Maintain organized records of all disbursement activities

Compliance & Controls

  • Ensure all financial transactions adhere to Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations
  • Maintain compliance with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) requirements
  • Follow internal accounting policies and procedures consistently
  • Support audit activities by providing accurate documentation and records
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to prevent errors and ensure process integrity

Performance Metrics

  • Invoice Processing Accuracy: Maintain high percentage of invoices processed accurately and within established timeframes
  • Disbursement Timeliness: Ensure prompt disbursement releases and accurate recording in Xero
  • Compliance Excellence: Achieve zero audit findings related to invoice and disbursement processes

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Xero accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of Philippine accounting regulations (BIR, SEC)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Understanding of accounts payable processes and internal controls

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php35,000.00 per month
