About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Associate to join our team at Momentum Goods Corporation in Butuan City, Agusan del Norte. This is a full-time position where you will play a key role in supporting our accounting operations and helping to ensure the financial health of the business.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform general accounting duties such as accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
  • Assist with the preparation of accounting statements and reports
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and files
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to provide financial information and support
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures
  • Comply with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies

What we're looking for

  • At least 1 year of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a similar industry
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
  • Relevant accounting qualifications or certifications would be highly regarded
