Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Penetration Tester with at least 4 years of hands-on experience to join our Offensive Security team. In this role, you will perform security testing on networks, web applications, and cloud systems to identify weaknesses, simulate attacks, and provide clear recommendations to improve security.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform penetration testing on internal, external, web, and cloud environments.
  • Identify, exploit, and document security vulnerabilities.
  • Prepare clear reports with risks, findings, and remediation steps.
  • Work with clients and internal teams to validate fixes and provide security advice.
  • Stay updated on the latest attack techniques, vulnerabilities, and tools.

Job Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain security systems and technical safeguards to protect organizational assets against internal and external threats.
  • Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data by applying appropriate security controls and policies.
  • Identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, development, and DevOps teams to integrate security best practices in all stages of the system lifecycle.
  • Stay updated with evolving threats, vulnerabilities, frameworks, and offensive/defensive security tools.

Penetration Testing Duties:

  • Simulate sophisticated cyberattacks to evaluate the security posture of systems and discover potential points of compromise.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and full-scope penetration tests on networks, applications, APIs, and cloud platforms.
  • Combine manual testing techniques with automated tools to uncover hidden or complex security flaws.
  • Conduct post-exploitation activities to assess lateral movement, privilege escalation, and data access.
  • Prepare and present detailed, evidence-based reports that explain vulnerabilities, exploitation paths, and remediation strategies.
  • Provide tailored remediation advice to development, security, and infrastructure teams.
  • Work closely with the SOC, Threat Intelligence, and Detection Engineering teams during collaborative engagements

Requirements:

· Minimum 4 years of experience in penetration testing or ethical hacking.

· Strong understanding of networks, Windows/Linux systems, and security fundamentals.

· Experience with common security tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit).

· Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and common attack methods.

Certifications:

  • Required:

o OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional)

  • Preferred / Optional (a plus):

o CREST CRT

o eCPTX or eWPTX

o CRTO, CRTE, CRTP

o PNPT

o CPTS

Nice to Have:

· Experience with cloud security testing (Azure, AWS, GCP).

· Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

· Experience with Red Teaming and adversary simulation, including C2 frameworks (e.g., Cobalt Strike, Mythic, Sliver).

· Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline security testing and DevSecOps practices.

· Knowledge of common EDR/AV evasion techniques and post-exploitation persistence methods.
