About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Legal Department. The successful candidate will assist the Head of Legal in handling litigation matters, preparing legal documents, coordinating with external counsel, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head of Legal Department in managing litigation accounts filed in court.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external legal counsel for monitoring ongoing litigation cases.
  • Draft and prepare pleadings and other legal documents for court proceedings (e.g., complaints, answers, judicial affidavits, etc.).
  • Prepare and draft contracts, including but not limited to Memoranda of Agreement, Deeds of Sale, and Contracts to Sell.
  • Prepare minutes of meetings and other legal documentation.
  • Review security documents for loan products endorsed by branches.
  • Negotiate with clients regarding payment or collection matters.
  • Maintain and organize case files, legal documents, and correspondence.
  • Ensure timely submission of pleadings and court compliance documents.
  • Coordinate and assist internal departments on legal concerns.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsels, and court staff.
  • Assist in conducting and summarizing legal due diligence, including the review of company records and contracts.
  • Support corporate compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Perform other functions as may be assigned by the Head of Legal Department from time to time.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Law, Legal Management, or any related four-year course.
  • Preferably 25 to 35 years old.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a law office or legal department engaged in litigation and corporate secretarial work.
  • 1–3 years of experience in legal research, drafting, and review of legal documents and court submissions.
  • Experience in documentation review related to real estate and banking is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and other computer programs.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
