ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a mid-level writer with at least 3 years of content and SEO experience to join our team in the Philippines. The ideal candidate is strongly interested in leveraging AI tools like ChatGPT to research and develop unique content.

In this role, you will work on co-ordinating and generating AI-produced website and blog content, then editing and finessing towards a final draft. Your content will help guide users across our marketplace and educate them on how to work with our suppliers.

We want you to have a solid background in content research and writing and, a proven ability to create search-engine facing website and blog content. You will possess excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering timely results.

Responsibilities
:

  • Assist our Marketplace business unit with content tasks leveraging your AI and writing skills, including company profiles, FAQs, costing guides and information on machinery and services.
  • Produce compelling, quality digital content for our online marketplace adhering to style, audience, and SEO best practices.
  • Ensure content produced can rank highly on Google and Bing by ensuring sufficient keyword density and using tools such as Surfer SEO to ensure the content contains the required ranking elements.
  • Publish new content to our websites through our proprietary CMS tools and through Hubspot CMS, ensuring the pages have SEO tags, internal links, are correctly formatted and include structured data.
  • Use AI tools in Google Sheets to create bulk content for niche applications, then apply that content to our marketplace and blog pages.
  • Conduct stock images searches for articles, and apply images and alt tags to articles.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with the Australian-based team, participate in virtual meetings, and provide project progress and performance updates.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Creative writing, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of agency SEO experience, with a strong focus on content-related SEO tasks.
  • Interest and, ideally, knowledge of AI tools such as Chat GPT and/or Jasper AI.
  • Knowledge of CMS or website publishing tools. Hubspot is preferred but not required.
  • Interest and knowledge of SEO tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Surfer SEO, AHREFS and Screaming Frog.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with remote team members.
  • Detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work and results.
