We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Analyst to join the dynamic team at Chelsea Shipping Corp. in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's financial reporting, accounting operations, and strategic financial initiatives.

What you'll be doing:

  • Financial Recording: Record financial transactions in the general ledger, including sales, purchases, expenses, and other financial activities. Make journal entries to accurately reflect the financial transactions and adjustments
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, intercompany accounts and other general ledger accounts. Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Financial Statements (FS): Prepare FS, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Journal Entries: Make journal entries to accurately reflect financial transactions and adjustments.
  • Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and support as needed. Address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
  • Expense Management: Monitor and analyze expenses, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance with budgetary constraints. Identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting principles, and company policies. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations.
  • Documentation: Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation for reference and audit purposes.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain the integrity of financial data in the accounting system. Perform regular data validation and clean-up tasks.

  • Willing to be assigned in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • CPA License is a plus
  • Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and internal control best practices
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop a team
