SUPER UNCLE CLAYPOT - Greenhills, San Juan- is looking for a JR Chef with experience in Chinese cuisine.

Job Description

  • Assist the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff, ensuring efficient operations and maintaining high culinary standards.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and refine menu items, considering both seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Oversee food ordering, inventory management, and cost control measures to optimize kitchen efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating excellent culinary techniques, leadership, and teamwork.
  • Assist in training and mentoring kitchen staff to enhance their skills and promote a positive work environment.
  • Stepping into the role of the Head Chef in their absence, making critical decisions to maintain smooth kitchen operations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven kitchen experience in the restaurant industry as a cook or chef in a Chinese restaurant
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and food presentation.
  • Leadership skills
  • Possesses the values of honesty, integrity and diligence

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php22,000.00 per month
