Tax Compliance Specialist

Responsible for the tax planning, compliance, and reporting of the Company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares and ensures correct computation of tax returns (DST, WG, WE, WF, WB, FBT, ITR), (monthly, quarterly, annually), including all attachments required by regulatory bodies (SAWT, VAT RELIEF, MAP)
• Responsible for the timely filing and payment of all BIR tax returns (DST, WG, WE, WF, WB, FBT, ITR) and ensuring completeness of the BIR Files
• In charge of handling BIR Tax audits. Ensure audit readiness by ensuring documentation and records are updated on a regular basis
• Computes and liaises for Local Business Tax and Real Property Tax for all locations
• Manage compliance with tax laws and requirements
• Checks FS of vendors for accreditation
• Checks the validity of tax exemption certificates of bondholders

Qualifications:

• A graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
• Must be knowledgeable and updated with Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) issuances and other government requirements
• Preferably,a Certified Public Accountant
