Key Responsibilities

Technical Documentation & Drawings

· Produce detailed technical drawings, construction documents, shop drawings, and joinery details for fit-out projects (e.g., partitions, ceilings, finishes)

· Translate conceptual and schematic designs into accurate, build-ready documentation aligned with project standards.

· Maintain updated BIM/Revit and CAD models, ensuring version control and issue tracking.

Coordination & Collaboration

· Coordinate with interior designers, architects, project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure technical alignment and constructability.

· Collaborate with MEP, structural consultants, and specialist suppliers to integrate multi-discipline deliverables into technical packages.

Site Support & Technical Clarification

· Support on-site teams during installation phases by providing technical guidance, clarifications, and updated drawings as needed.

· Conduct site visits for field measurements, quality checks, and verification of as-built conditions to inform design adjustments and documentation.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

· Ensure all technical outputs comply with applicable building codes, industry standards, and internal quality assurance processes.

· Review construction documents and design specifications for accuracy and completeness before release.

Project Deliverables & Reporting

· Prepare schedules, elevations, sections, material specifications, and detailed drawings for procurement and construction activities.

· Assist in preparing tenders, production packages, and technical submission documents for client and contractor review.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

· Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred.

· 3–7+ years of experience in technical design, detailing, or drafting within interior fit-out, commercial interiors, or construction environments.

Technical Skills

· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other CAD/BIM software.

· Strong understanding of construction methods, detailing (joinery, finishes, partitions), materials, and site conditions.

· Knowledge of building codes, standards, and documentation control procedures

Core Competencies

· Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in documentation.

· Strong communication and coordination skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables under tight deadlines.

· Proactive problem-solver with a practical understanding of constructability challenges.
