We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Actuarial Assistant to join our team. The role will be responsible for supporting financial and regulatory reporting, actuarial analysis, and compliance activities. This is an excellent opportunity for actuarial professionals who are looking to further develop their expertise in insurance reporting, data analysis, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform validation of expense allocation processes.
- Consolidate and review quarterly local regulatory reports.
- Support various actuarial reporting processes, including but not limited to:
- IBNR (Incurred But Not Reported) calculation
- Checking of VUL annual statements
- Validation of seriatim files against balances in the local annual statement
- Monitoring compliance with regulatory and audit requirements
- Collaborate with the data analytics team to support the development of a production data warehouse and the automation of actuarial reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of actuarial-related experience.
- Passed at least 2 actuarial exams.
- Proficiency in actuarial modeling software.
- Strong command of MS Office applications.
- Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
