Overview Product Development Specialist (UITFs, global funds, or trust/investment management) Responsibilities Involvement in product functions to aid in development of new funds/products/investment strategies and monitoring the existing portfolios. Facilitate activities in the SLIMTC Product Development and Approval Process (PDAP). Serve as the primary representative of the Head, Business Development and Analytics for all product-related concerns; well-versed in client and regulatory requirements pertaining to product and strategy development. Ensure the creation of products and strategies for SLIMTC to expand the company’s AUM and client base, including but not limited to: New product/service offerings representing new lines of business for SLIMTC and listed in the SLIMTC Trust Manual of Operations New Unit Investment Trust Fund (UITF) funds to service SLIMTC clients and/or the investing public Products/service offerings that may be added by SLIMTC Management and/or Board Oversee day-to-day operations of the SLIMTC Product Development group (PDG): creating and maintaining PDG meeting agendas and minutes, facilitating product discussions, and coordinating among Marketing/Investments/Finance and related parties Review previously launched funds and products to ensure alignment with initial launch plans and parameters Manage the documentary and regulatory aspects of the product development process, including internal forms and regulatory submissions for current and future SLIMTC products and UITF funds Improvement and maintenance of the internal systems of SLIMTC Acquire knowledge of Bloomberg and other systems used to manage SLIMTC assets; develop operational knowledge to support product-related tasks requiring system information Other Investment-linked activities Assist the team with miscellaneous duties/projects/initiatives as needed Abilities Stress Tolerance Data Gathering Skills Problem Solving and Analysis under time pressure Persistence Organization Knowledge Basic economic analysis Advanced Excel/Visual Basic Knowledge Strong in one of the following: Statistics, Math, Actuarial Science Senioriry level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Other Industries Staffing and Recruiting #J-18808-Ljbffr
