Who We Are:
We design and manufacture custoUpgrade to see actual infotal products used in architectural, industrial, and consumer-facing applications. From precision-cut brackets to full-scale railing systems, our team brings concepts to life through smart, fabrication-ready design. We're hiring a SolidWorks designer with strong experience in sheet metal and weldments to join us full-time and take on a lead role in producing professional-grade CAD packages for real-world builds.

Role Overview:
In this role, you'll be responsible for turning architectural drawings, sketches, and conceptual ideas into accurate, buildable 3D models and shop drawings. You'll own the sheet metal and weldment workflows from part modeling through to flat patterns, cut lists, and BOMs.

What You'll Do:
-Create and manage detailed SolidWorks models using Weldments and Sheet Metal tools
-Produce fabrication drawings for laser/plasma cutting, bending, and welding
-Design brackets, enclosures, frames, handrails, and mounting structures
-Create detailed BOMs
-Collaborate to ensure DFM and field-fit
-Maintain templates, part libraries, and drawing standards for efficient design flow

Must-Have Qualifications:
years of hands-on experience in SolidWorks with a focus on Sheet Metal and Weldments
-Strong ability to read architectural prints and convert them into build-ready models
-Deep understanding of manufacturing processes including laser cutting, forming, and welding
-Comfort working with tight tolerances and hardware integration (fasteners, brackets, etc.)
-Ability to manage multiple projects and hit deadlines without constant oversight

Nice to Have:
-Experience designing handrails, stair systems, or structural supports
-Familiarity with U.S. building codes (ADA, IBC)
-Background in fabrication, construction, or shop-floor coordination
