Qualifications & experience

  • Must be a Licensed Electrical Engineer
  • Must have at least two (2) years of experience in specializing in Electrical Engineering and Project Management
  • Proficient in design works, such as load computation, circuiting, and capacity of the transformer, genset, and other electrical systems
  • Able to check and verify Electrical Plans and on Site
  • Knowledgeable in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. Knowledgeable in Power System Design Software is an advantage
  • Strong Leadership and Project Management Skills
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate and collaborate with the other disciplines in the project team such as Mechanical, Civil, etc.
  • Willing to assist others in the project team who might be needed occasionally to ensure the team accomplishes the timely delivery of projects.
  • Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Develop and review electrical design and specifications ensuring compliance with project requirements, relevant international and national regulations and standards, and codes of practice
  • Prepare design documentation, technical reports, and proposals by client objectives
  • Monitor and inspect of site works/activities and ensure compliance with standards and specifications, approved drawings, safety, environmental and health compliance, and other statutory requirements.
  • Participate in equipment testing and acceptance
  • Attends to equipment installation and commissioning
  • Participate in design and coordination meetings with the clients
  • Perform other tasks as required by the immediate supervisor.
