Job Summary:

The Delivery Assistant shall support the delivery driver in logistics activities and ensure units are delivered safely and efficiently.

The delivery Assistant shall be responsible for loading and unloading all for delivery units to customers, considering the completeness and accuracy of documents, ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the safety, timely and accurate delivery of order units.
  • Responsible for the pickup of returnable packaging/boxes/crates from customers to ensure safe storage in the warehouse.
  • Check the completeness of documents before departure and trail the standard process flow to ensure accurate transaction.
  • Responsible for transmitting documents related to the Sales representative in the delivery area.
  • Assist the driver with carrying and organizing the order units, ensuring they are properly secured in the vehicle.
  • Assist the driver to smoothly park the delivery vehicle in the parking area.
  • Help the driver find and follow the most efficient routes to delivery locations, often using Google Maps.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and report ay problems or changes to the Logistics Supervisor.
  • Assist the Driver in vehicle maintenance checks and ensure the vehicle is good working condition.
  • Ensure sort (seiri), set in order (seiton), shine (seiso), standardize (seiketsu), and sustain (shitsuke) in the area of responsibility (vehicle parking area) and follow the safety procedures of the company.
  • Perform such other tasks as may be assigned by the immediate superior related to the above after due training and qualification.
