Lead Generation Associate

The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for driving lead generation, managing databases, engaging in targeted outreach, and converting leads into sales opportunities. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the sales pipeline by identifying high-quality leads through online channels, events, and campaigns. The specialist will work closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure a smooth transition of leads and maintain an organized, high-quality CRM database.
Responsibilities:1. Lead Generation & Online Hunt (40%)
Objective: Acquire new leads through digital channels, proactive outreach, and structured lead qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential leads via LinkedIn, industry forums, and online databases.
- Execute targeted lead generation campaigns through digital channels.
- Qualify leads based on company size, industry, and decision-making hierarchy.
- Maintain a structured lead tracking system using CRM tools.
- Achieve a minimum of [X] qualified leads per month.
2. Event-Based Lead Generation & Email Campaigns & Online Engagement
Objective: Utilize corporate events, webinars, trade shows, and email marketing to source and nurture leads.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with marketing to drive attendance for RMO/MKT events.
- Generate leads from event registrations and post-event follow-ups.
- Schedule qualified appointments from event engagements.
- Convert at least [X]% of event attendees into qualified leads.
- Develop and execute targeted email campaigns.
- Conduct personalized follow-ups on engaged prospects.
- Track email campaign performance metrics.
3. Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) Conversion
Objective: Convert [X] SPQ leads (10%) to SQL (50%) per quarter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess lead quality based on Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) criteria.
- Monitor lead progression through the sales funnel.
- Measure average time for a lead to progress from initial generation to SQL.
4. Database Management & Lead Profiling (10%)
Objective: Maintain a structured, high-quality database for strategic outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update and validate CRM lead data.
- Profile new accounts based on company size, industry, and role hierarchy.
- Ensure accurate and complete data entry.
5. Learning & Development, Work Competencies & Attitude (10%)
Objective: Enhance expertise through continuous learning and coaching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain job knowledge required to perform effectively.
- Submit accurate and timely reports.
- Ensure productivity and organization in daily tasks.
- Demonstrate dependability and continuous improvement.
- Attend and be certified in 1-2 courses or workshops per quarter.
Performance Indicators:
- Completion rate of assigned training modules.
- Application of new skills in daily tasks.
- Feedback from coaching sessions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in inside sales, lead generation, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in CRM tools and lead tracking systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies, LinkedIn prospecting, and email campaigns.
