Core Profile
The Regional Sales Lead is responsible for driving the growth of Saripay's merchant and partner network within the assigned territory. The role focuses on onboarding and managing sari-sari stores, retailers, wholesalers, and accredited partners to adopt Saripay's digital payment solutions, e-wallet services, and credit products such as Elista 3.
The RSL is expected to demonstrate strong territory management, partner relationship-building, and a solid understanding of financial services and digital lending products. The role involves identifying high-potential markets, expanding merchant coverage, and increasing product adoption and utilization through agents, aggregators, distributors, and strategic partners.
The ideal candidate has proven experience in field sales, merchant acquisition, or financial services, with the ability to lead agents, execute localized sales strategies, and deliver onboarding, activation, and revenue targets in a fast-paced fintech environment.
What You Need to Succeed
- Consistently achieve or exceed sales, onboarding, and utilization targets in a fast paced fintech environment.
- Identify and acquire new business opportunities to expand Elista 3 and Saripay Business Loans (SBL) use cases within the assigned territory through accredited partners, wholesalers, and aggregators.
- Directly manage key parent merchants and partners by promoting Saripay's financial products, facilitating document collection and submission, providing after-sales support, and overseeing the distribution and audit of trade marketing materials.
- Develop and execute efficient sales coverage and territory plans to maximize merchant reach and productivity.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Operations, Credit, Risk, MIS, Marketing, and Compliance) to ensure smooth onboarding, activation, and issue resolution.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably within financial services or fintech.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of digital banking, e-wallets, or financial products.
- Proven experience in merchant acquisition, partner development, and relationship management.
- Strong territorial familiarity with the Davao Region, including key commercial areas, wholesalers, and merchant clusters.
- Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and results-driven environment.
- Demonstrates strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Must be residing in Davao Region, with flexibility for temporary relocations or short-term field assignments as business needs require.
- Holds a valid driver's license and is willing to perform extensive field work.
- Experience in or exposure to a financial institution is an advantage.
