  • Develop, implement, and maintain material planning strategies aligned with material forecasts and business objectives.
  • Monitor inventory levels, usage, and replenishment requirements to ensure uninterrupted operation.
  • Coordinate with procurement, warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and allocation of materials.
  • Prepare and process purchase requisitions, and follow up with suppliers regarding lead times, delivery schedules, and order status.
  • Identify, evaluate, and resolve material shortages or delays that could impact operational timelines.
  • Analyze consumption trends, forecast accuracy, and supply performance for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of material transactions, purchase orders, and supplier performance metrics.
  • Prepare regular reports on material availability, usage, and forecast variances for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.

Job Qualifications*

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • experience in material planning, procurement, supply chain, or inventory management (manufacturing/telecommunications/construction industry experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of material planning, inventory control, and procurement processes.
  • Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills for coordinating with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
