  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure they are operating efficiently and minimize the risk of breakdowns.
  • Follow scheduled maintenance plans to inspect, clean, lubricate, and adjust machinery components as needed.
  • Document and report all preventive maintenance activities and findings in maintenance logs.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on production equipment.
  • Respond promptly to machine malfunctions and breakdowns, identifying the root cause and making necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Replace worn or damaged parts, including belts, gears, bearings, and other components.
  • Test and calibrate machines after repairs to ensure they meet operational standards.
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment, ensuring proper calibration and alignment.
  • Ensure that machinery is properly integrated into the production system and that all safety protocols are followed.
  • Provide input and suggestions for equipment upgrades or improvements.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensure machines are operating within specified safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Report any safety hazards, faulty equipment, or other concerns to management.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and repairs.
  • Generate reports on machine performance, downtime, and preventive maintenance.
  • Track inventory of spare parts and recommend orders for replacement items to ensure sufficient stock levels.
  • Work closely with production supervisors, engineers, and other team members to coordinate machine maintenance schedules and minimize production disruptions.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to identify recurring machine issues and recommend solutions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to optimize machine performance and minimize downtime.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest maintenance techniques, machinery technology, and industry standards.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements and increased efficiency.
