Transport Economist/Planner

Job Description:

We are seeking skilled Transport Economists/Planners to join our team. The ideal candidates will contribute to planning, analysis, and implementation of transport projects across national, regional, provincial, and urban contexts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct transport economic analyses and planning studies.
• Contribute to the preparation and evaluation of transport plans and policies.
• Analyze transport data, model transport demand, and provide insights for decision-making.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project development.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Transport Planning, Economics, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field.
• Postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline is a plus.
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills (mandatory).
• Senior Level: At least 10 years of work experience, with a minimum of 8 years in the field of expertise.
• Junior Level: [Specify years, e.g., 3–5 years of relevant experience].
• Experience in national, regional, provincial, or urban transport plans is advantageous.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
