Vestas SSC provides processing services to Vestas businesses around the world, mainly in Finance & Accounting, Master Data Management, Procurement, Global Service Support Center, and Remote Operations Center.The team is under the Global Finance of Vestas Shared Services Centre.As part of Vestas Global Finance Shared Service Centre, the team is primarily responsible for providing standardized, rule-based services to the region. This refers to the end-to-end processes of fixed assets. The group is expected to have close collaboration with Regional Finance, Payroll &Treasury Department, as well as with the other functions in SSC, such as AP/AR/TE & Controlling and Reporting.Finance SSC > Fixed Assets & Global Intercompany > Global Fixed Assets IResponsibilitiesParticipate in further improvement and optimisation of end-to-end Fixed Asset Accounting processes and procedures in Finance and Accounting (Investment order creation, Capitalization, Settlements, Depreciation & Asset Rollforward)Handles most complex entities and executes the relevant finance processing of Fixed Assets fully in accordance with the defined and agreed Vestas Standard Operating Procedures and in accordance with Vestas Financial GuidelinesEffectively engage and collaborate with relevant colleagues (i.e., AP/ AR/TE, Controlling and Reporting) and business stakeholders (i.e., Regional Finance, Payroll & Treasury), to solve operational issues and problems with speed and qualityPerform an analytical review to ensure KPIs and PPIs are met for the specific regions assignedPrepares and submits SAP GRC control documentations in a timely mannerAct as Deputy Team Lead (1st level of escalation) and as Subject Matter Expert (Operations/Functional)Assist with Stakeholder Management (e.g., support team on calls/MOR)Support and assist with queries and supervise issue resolution in assigned regionsManage a clean-up on Fixed assets and Lease accountsFacilitate/lead update on SOPs and highly participate in process hearingsKeep process flows for country exceptions of own team up to date, well-documented, and described in the global repositoryHighly involved in both internal and external audits (acts as representative)Act as trainers for New Hires, and oversee and implement refresher training within/across teamsPerforms Ad hoc tasks as necessaryQualificationsGraduate of BS AccountancyWith a substantial background in Fixed assets, General Ledger functions, Reporting or ControllingWith at least 4 years and above of working experience in the same fieldWith BPO or Shared Service experienceCompetenciesPreferably but not required white belt trained or with knowledge in process improvement methodologiesCertifications (i.e., CPA, CMA, CIA, etc.) are beneficial but not requiredWith good communication skillsProblem solving-orientedFlexible and willing to work on holidays as needed and, on any shift, as may be assigned.
