About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Internal Accountant to support our UK-based accounting department. The role will focus on day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks using Xero, ensuring accurate financial records and smooth coordination with the UK team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily bookkeeping and data entry in Xero.
  • Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and promptly.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and other accounts regularly.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Maintain and organize accounting records and supporting documents.
  • Assist in preparing management reports and financial summaries as needed.
  • Communicate with the UK accounting team to ensure alignment on financial processes and reporting deadlines.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in Xero is required.
  • Experience supporting UK or international accounting processes is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup.
  • Willing to work during UK business hours.
