About the role
Join the dynamic culinary team at Zirconia Inc' as a Commis- Pasta. This is a full-time role based in Makati City, Metro Manila, where you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of pasta dishes to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing
- Prepare and cook pasta dishes to order, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
- Assist the chefs in the preparation of sauces, garnishes and other components of pasta dishes
- Maintain a clean and organised work station, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Support the wider kitchen team as required, contributing to the overall efficiency of operations
- Participate in menu development and testing of new pasta recipes
What we're looking for
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar pasta preparation or line cook role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or catering environment
- Excellent working knowledge of pasta varieties, sauces and preparation techniques
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Passion for food and a commitment to delivering a high-quality dining experience for our customers
