Driver Technician

What you'll be doing

1. Safely operate a variety of company vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport goods and materials.
2. Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs to keep vehicles in optimal working order.
3. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, and communicate with the maintenance team to coordinate repairs.
4. Maintain detailed records of vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
5. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the safe transportation of cargo.
6. Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods on time and in pristine condition.
7. Collaborate with the wider team to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a driver or technician in the road transport industry
2. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of vehicle systems
3. Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
4. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining detailed records
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals
6. Strong communication and customer service skills
7. With a driver's license is a must.
