What you'll be doing

  1. Safely operating a variety of vehicles, including light and heavy goods vehicles
  2. Conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to identify and resolve any issues
  3. Reporting any vehicle faults or damage and arranging for repairs as needed
  4. Ensuring vehicles are clean, tidy and well-presented at all times
  5. Adhering to all relevant health, safety and regulatory requirements
  6. Assisting with loading and unloading of goods as required

What we're looking for

  1. A valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicles you will be operating
  2. Previous experience as a driver or driver technician, ideally within the road transport industry
  3. Good mechanical aptitude and ability to carry out basic vehicle maintenance and repairs
  4. Strong customer service skills and the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders
  5. Excellent time management and organisational skills
  6. A safety-first attitude and commitment to following policies and procedures
