Design data structures optimized for performance, scalability, and maintainability within the Enterprise Data Platform. Data Integration & MappingDefine and document data mappings for ETL processes and integrations across multiple components of the Enterprise Data Platform, utilizing tools like Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks. Data Access & SecurityImplement and manage Unity Catalog for metadata management and access control within Azure Databricks.

Ensure compliance with internal and external data security and privacy standards. Data Optimization & Performance TuningDesign and optimize data models to enhance query performance, scalability, and storage efficiency. Apply partitioning, indexing, and other performance-enhancing techniques.

Metadata ManagementTrack and manage metadata across data models in the Enterprise Data Platform. Collaboration & Stakeholder ManagementWork closely with data engineers, business analysts, and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical data designs and solutions. Version ControlManage version control of data models, ensuring that changes are tracked and communicated across teams.

Oversee change management processes for updates and revisions. DocumentationCreate and maintain data dictionaries, ERDs, and other technical documentation to support ongoing and future developments in the Enterprise Data Platform. The Successful Applicant5 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data integration.

Proficiency in data modeling tools such as Erwin or similar tools. Strong working knowledge of relational and cloud-based databases and design approaches. Familiarity with Azure Databricks, Unity Catalog, and Azure Medallion Architecture.

Experience in designing and implementing governance and security policies for data access. Proficiency in metadata management and tracking data lineage. Proficient in designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models using tools like Erwin Data Modeler, with a strong understanding of normalization, denormalization, and schema design for analytics and operational systems.
