Armada Hotel Manila is looking for motivated individuals who would like to fill the role of Housekeeping Intern in Malate, Manila, Philippines.

As an intern you will go through Armada Hotel Manila Internship Program to learn first-hand about a hotel's operations. You will get immersed in Armada's culture and business and find your true calling in the hospitality industry. Gaining hands-on experience in hotel management, and many different areas of the hotel.

To be considered in the internship, you must have the following qualifications:

  • Must be a current college or university student
  • College Level / Undergraduate degree in Hotel or Hospitality Management (with Housekeeping subjects preferred)
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, and a capacity to excel in dynamic environments.
  • Eager to engage in hotel business and operations

Key Responsibilities of a Housekeeping Intern:

  • Cleaning and Maintenance:Assist with daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning surfaces in guest rooms and public areas.
  • Room Preparation:Prepare guest rooms for arrival by making beds, changing linens, and ensuring all amenities are stocked and in good condition.
  • Supply Management:Assist in organizing and stocking housekeeping supplies, ensuring adequate inventory and proper storage.
  • Customer Service:Provide excellent service to guests and staff, answering questions, addressing requests, and maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Learning and Development:Learn and apply industry best practices for cleanliness, safety, and guest service.
  • Observation and Assistance:Shadow experienced housekeeping staff, observing and assisting with various tasks and procedures.
