DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct regular health screenings and assessments for employees, including pre-employment physicals, routine check-ups, and fitness-for-duty evaluations.
Provide immediate care for work-related injuries and illnesses, administering first aid and coordinating further medical treatment if necessary.
Monitor and manage chronic conditions of employees, ensuring they are fit to perform their duties in compliance with occupational health standards.
Collaborate with safety officers and management to develop and implement safety protocols and procedures specific to heavy hauling operations.
Participate in hazard identification and risk assessments, advising on health and safety measures to mitigate potential hazards.
Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
Develop and deliver training programs on health and safety topics such as ergonomics, proper lifting techniques, fatigue management, and emergency response.
Educate employees on the prevention of work-related injuries and illnesses, promoting a proactive approach to health and safety.
Manage employee health records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with legal requirements.
Implement wellness programs aimed at improving overall employee health, including stress management, smoking cessation, and fitness initiatives.
Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and medical emergency protocols.
Maintain accurate records of injuries, illnesses, and health-related incidents.
Prepare weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual reports for management and regulatory bodies as required.
Manage and monitor all health clearances in accordance with client requirements.
Ensure accurate and timely monitoring of Drivers & Helpers drug testing schedules and manage on-time submission of their credentials as per client's request.
Participate in incident investigations to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
Provide counseling and support to employees dealing with work-related stress, fatigue, or other health concerns.
Assisting Department toolbox meeting in discussing health measures, practices, announcements and reminders.
Performing other related duties as may be assigned by his/her Superior
