Meet the team:

IT Core Services (ITCS) is Dexcom's global backbone for identity, collaboration, and core infrastructure. We design, secure, and operate Active Directory/Entra ID, Okta, and Microsoft 365/Exchange Online for a fast‑growing, mission‑driven company. We partner closely with Security, Compliance, and Application teams to ship secure, scalable services that enable Dexcom to focus on transforming diabetes care.

Where you come in:

• Administer and harden Okta: manage SSO integrations (SAML/OIDC), SCIM provisioning, group lifecycle, app assignments, and Okta Workflows automation for workforce and service identities.
• Operate and improve Active Directory and Entra ID: maintain domain controllers, DNS, GPOs, hybrid identity, Conditional Access, PIM, and RBAC.
• Lead Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online administration: oversee mail flow and transport, retention and eDiscovery, Teams/SharePoint/OneDrive governance, and hygiene.
• Implement onboarding standards for applications: enforce Okta SSO, SCIM, MFA, least privilege, and secure transport in partnership with Security and application owners.
• Leverage the Workday-driven identity and Self-Service Groups platform for role-based access; support IGA cycles, including access reviews, certifications, and audit evidence.
• Monitor and respond using observability and alerting tools; drive incident, problem, and change management practices; and contribute to runbooks.
• Produce audit artifacts, such as configuration snapshots, logs, and access attestations, to support SOX ITGC, HIPAA, and FDA requirements.
• Participate in on-call rotation and planned maintenance windows, coordinating with U.S., EMEA, and APAC teams.

What makes you successful:

• Server Building and Configuration (DNS/DHCP setup)
• Okta & IAM depth: SAML/OIDC, SCIM, application onboarding, group strategy, and Okta Workflows; practical experience applying MFA and least privilege.
• AD/Entra ID expertise: Hybrid identity, GPO/replication troubleshooting, conditional access and PIM, and identity protection signals.
• PowerShell/automation: Scripting at scale across AD, M365, and Entra; familiarity with Microsoft Graph.
• M365/Exchange administration: Transport rules, mail hygiene, retention/eDiscovery, Teams/SharePoint governance.
• Security mindset: Threat-informed configurations, logging/telemetry, service account hygiene, and change control discipline.
• Audit & documentation: Clear change records, diagrams, SOPs, and audit evidence for regulated environments.
• Collaboration: Partner effectively with Security, App Owners, and HR/TA data stewards; communicate clearly during incidents and post-incident reviews.
• Consistency & reliability: Regular, reliable attendance and participation in an on-call rotation.

Experience and Education Requirements:

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 – 8 years of related experience.
