About the role

As an FDAS Technician at Net Pacific, Inc.', you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and repair of the company's Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (FDAS) at our Taguig City Metro Manila location. This full-time position is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and compliance of our critical life safety systems.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform scheduled inspections and testing of FDAS components to identify any issues or malfunctions
  • Troubleshoot and repair any detected faults or problems with the FDAS equipment
  • Maintain detailed records of all inspection, testing and repair activities
  • Ensure the FDAS meets all applicable fire safety regulations and building codes
  • Collaborate with the facilities team to coordinate system upgrades and modifications
  • Provide training to other personnel on the proper operation and maintenance of the FDAS

What we're looking for

  • Diploma or certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an FDAS technician or in a similar role
  • Hands-on experience with the inspection, testing and repair of fire alarm, detection and notification systems
  • Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations, building codes and industry best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve system issues
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to deliver high-quality results
  • Effective communication skills to provide training and liaise with stakeholders
