Job Overview

The Senior Accountant is supporting both Head Office and project operations in a fast-paced, international environment. This role works closely with the Accounting Supervisor and coordinates with Head Office, field offices, and internal departments such as HR, Procurement, Payments, and the Risk Fund to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with donor requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter financial transactions into the computerized accounting system
  • Generate account balances and analyze transaction details
  • Process payments and ensure proper filing and archiving of financial documents
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for Head Office
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for field offices
  • Review budget versus actual expense reports
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of financial reports in compliance with donor deadlines
  • Prepare and review budgets for proposal submissions
  • Prepare and review financial forecasts as required
  • Participate in internal audits, project external audits, expenditure verifications, and organization-wide audits
  • Assist in addressing and responding to audit findings
  • Ensure effective implementation of internal controls across all financial management areas
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of evolving organizational needs

Qualifications & RequirementsMandatory Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
  • High level of English proficiency (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity and ability to work with diverse teams

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php30, Php40,000.00 per month

License/Certification:
