The ideal candidate will be responsible for extracting live data, collecting and gathering data as required by the business or account, and providing in-depth analysis. Beyond technical skills, this role requires the ability to present findings effectively and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders. The Senior Data Analyst will serve as a trusted advisor, leveraging data-driven insights to guide strategic decision-making.Expanded Job Description:Project Management:Lead data-related projects from conception to completionSet project timelines, milestones, and deliverablesManage resources and budgets for data initiativesCoordinate with internal teams and external vendors as neededPresentation and Communication:Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.  This includes the account/regional directors, account champions, facility managers plus internal and other external stakeholdersCreate clear, concise, and visually appealing reports and dashboardsTranslate complex data concepts into easy-to-understand insights for stakeholders – internal and external stakeholders such as account directors, champions, facility managers and regional stakeholdersDevelop and deliver data literacy training to team members and clientsStrategic Advisory:Act as a trusted advisor to business units and accountsProvide data-driven recommendations to inform strategic decision-makingCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven improvementsStay current with industry trends and best practices in data analyticsData Collection and Management:Extracting, collecting, and gathering data from various sources, including live data streamsEnsuring data quality, integrity, and consistency across all platformsDeveloping and maintaining data pipelinesImplementing data governance practices and ensuring compliance with data protection regulationsIdentifying data-related issues and determining root causesManaging data access, including assigning passwords and maintaining database accessParticipating in data integration projects and initiativesComplying with and contributing to data standardization effortsData Accuracy: Auditing database access and requestsContinually reviewing processes for improvementData Analysis and Interpretation:Conduct complex data analysis using advanced statistical methodsIdentify trends, patterns, and correlations within large datasetsDevelop predictive models and forecasts to support business objectivesPerform ad-hoc analysis as requested by stakeholdersContinuous Improvement:Identify and implement process improvements in data collection, analysis, and reportingEvaluate and recommend new technologies and methodologies to enhance data capabilitiesMentor junior team members and contribute to the growth of the data analytics practiceQualifications1+ year of experience in data analysis, with a proven track record of delivering actionable insightsMedium to Expert-level proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI experience is good to have but not requiredStrong understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization techniquesExperience with big data technologies and cloud-based analytics platformsExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiencesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentThis role requires a combination of technical expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills.
