Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our accounting department. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills to prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts. To succeed in this role, you should have a problem-solving mindset and be capable of leading and managing a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
  • Participate in tax audits and assist with payroll processing
  • Prepare and analyze budget reports and financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures
  • Monitor financial transactions and provide accurate reporting to management
  • Identify process improvements and implement best practices within the department
  • Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to accounting staff
  • Collaborate with other departments to support organizational financial goals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proven experience in accounting or finance, with supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
