Job DescriptionThis position is within the Engineering Solutions Group at the company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing custom power delivery products, including AC/DC, DC/DC, high power, low power, high voltage, and low voltage switch mode power supplies. The Engineering Solutions Group features a collaborative environment with creative, smart people and cutting-edge technologies. Engineering excellence is expected and encouraged.

Join us in crafting solutions the world has not yet imagined KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDesign of AC/DC, DC/DC switch mode power supplies utilizing various topologies. Take products from concept to volume production while ensuring they meet performance specifications, schedule, cost, and reliability targets.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (PCB layout, Mechanical engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Test, and Quality engineering) to ensure designs meet all DfX requirements. Select raw materials, components, and suppliers based on product performance specifications, reliability, and regulatory requirements. Participate in research and development of new technologies.

Perform circuit simulations, DFMEA, component stress analysis, reliability prediction calculations, Design Verification Testing, and write technical reports. Prepare documentation for product release. Support RMA group with root cause analysis.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in electrical engineering with 10-12 years of work experience. Experience in mixed signal circuit design, simulations, and testing of power electronics. Working knowledge of power conversion principles, topologies, and technologies.

Experience designing electronic assemblies and/or power conversion products. RF and High Voltage experience is preferred.

Ability to independently execute tests, from setup to result reporting. Strong debug skills and experience in validation, problem tracking. Experience with test data collection and analysis.

Experience in developing test plans and procedures is a plus. In-depth understanding of control theory. Ability to make cost-effective judgments related to product cost and manufacturing processes.

Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Additional informationBased in The Philippines. Must be amenable to future RTO/Hybrid onsite reporting in Ortigas, Metro Manila.
