Quantity Surveyor Electrical

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for electrical works
• Check electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor and control project costs, ensuring all works remain within the approved budget.
• Evaluate site progress and prepare cost reports, valuations, and payment certificates.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure proper cost and schedule management.
• Review and process variation orders and change requests with complete documentation.
• Assist in contract administration and resolution of cost-related issues.
• Maintain updated records of all electrical costs, BOQs, and contract revisions.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and project specifications in all cost-related activities.
• Prepare final accounts and assist in project close-out documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and project cost control
• Knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and construction standards
• Proficient in MS Excel and other cost management tools
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines
