JOB SUMMARY
A Healthcare Business Associate is responsible for supporting healthcare operations by accurately collecting and recording patient demographic information, managing customer interactions, and meeting performance metrics to enhance productivity and ensure a positive client experience. This role involves working closely with providers, clients, and internal teams to maintain accurate records, resolve concerns, and contribute to the overall efficiency of healthcare administrative functions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect and record patient demographic information, including personal details, contact information, and insurance details. This ensures accurate and up-to-date records, which support efficient patient management and billing processes.
- Achieve performance metrics by effectively managing the call/case volume, optimizing handling times, and maintaining high levels of productivity. Consistently meeting these goals enhances operational efficiency and ensures exceptional customer service quality.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
- Reports security incidents and/or any identified security weaknesses.
- Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Completed any four-year College course
- At least 2 years of experience in medical/ healthcare BPO setting.
- Strong background in US medical insurance and claims processing.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and internal personal skills
- Amenable to work onsite in Alabang and US shifts
