Position Summary

The Driver/Technician is responsible for providing technical support through equipment installation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance, while also ensuring the safe and timely transport of technicians, tools, and materials to various project sites. The role requires strong coordination, adherence to company standards, and reliable documentation of service activities.

Key Responsibilities1. Technical Support & Maintenance

  • Perform installation, repair, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment based on work orders and company standards.
  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving technical issues to minimize equipment downtime and improve service efficiency.
  • Document all service activities accurately for tracking and reporting purposes.

2. Driving & Transportation

  • Safely transport technicians, tools, and equipment to assigned project locations using company vehicles.
  • Comply with all traffic rules, safety protocols, and company driving guidelines.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or concerns.
  • Assist in loading and unloading equipment at each project site.

3. Team Collaboration

  • Provide support to team members when handling complex or heavy technical tasks.
  • Coordinate with the Technical Supervisor and fellow technicians to ensure efficient project scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Maintain effective communication during on-site operations to ensure smooth workflow

Qualifications

Educational Background

  • High School Graduate or Technical/Vocational Course Graduate (electrical, mechanical, electronics, or related field preferred).

Technical Skills & Experience

  • At least 1–2 years of experience in technical servicing, maintenance, repair, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge in electrical and mechanical repairs (advantage if experienced in laundry equipment, home appliances, industrial machines, etc.).
  • Ability to read and follow technical instructions, manuals, and work orders.
  • Willing to undergo additional technical training provided by the company.

Driving Requirements

  • With valid professional driver's license (Restriction 1, 2, or 3 depending on vehicle type).
  • Proven experience driving company/service vehicles.
  • Clean driving record with no major violations.

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Physically fit and capable of lifting tools/equipment when needed.
  • Willing to travel to various project sites.
  • Can work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as required.
  • Must be punctual, reliable, and responsible.
