This project is a collaborative effort with The Zuellig Family Foundation (ZFF), Unité de santé internationale de l'Université de Montréal (USI-UdeM), and local civil society organizations. About the Opportunity:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Officer to provide frontline support to the GRASP-UHC project.

You will play a key role in mobilizing community participation and facilitating community-level activities to improve access to quality healthcare. Key Responsibilities:Technical Implementation: Work closely with project specialists to deliver quality and technically sound activities at the community level, ensuring alignment with public health principles. Participatory Analysis: Lead community-level participatory situational analyses and consultations to identify and address health-related challenges, incorporating a gender-responsive lens.

Stakeholder Engagement: Mobilize the participation of diverse stakeholders, including community members, LGU personnel, and healthcare providers, ensuring their meaningful input throughout the project lifecycle. Capacity Building: Design and facilitate capacity-building activities for children, families, LGU personnel, and other UHC stakeholders, focusing on strengthening local health systems. Monitoring and Evaluation: Facilitate local participation in the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation (SAPIME) of health interventions, utilizing inclusive and gender-transformative approaches.

Reporting: Prepare comprehensive community-level reports, documenting project activities and outcomes.Emergency Response: Support emergency response activities as required, contributing to the organization's humanitarian efforts. Qualifications:University degree in a health-related discipline (Public Health, Nursing, etc.), Social Work, Community Development, Social Development, Social Sciences, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience implementing programs at the community level, with at least 2 years specifically in health-related projects/programs. Strong understanding of community development principles, partnership and stakeholder engagement, networking, advocacy, data gathering, documentation, planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation, within a public health context. Knowledge of children's rights, government health programs, community-based health systems, health governance, gender equality, and inclusion, particularly in relation to public health.

Proficiency in computer applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and dynamic team.

Ability and willingness to conduct extensive fieldwork in project areas. Must be a Filipino national based in the Philippines. Community health program implementation.

Participatory health assessment and planning. Capacity building in public health. Monitoring and evaluation of health interventions.
