Crossmuller, a Borg Company, is an innovative Australian engineering organization specializing in manufacturing design, automation, and systems integration. Our Engineering Division constructs advanced manufacturing facilities and automation systems for factory and warehouse operations.

We are currently recruiting Sheet Metal Fabricators from the Philippines to join our Somersby construction team, supporting the manufacture and installation of structural and fabricated steel components and electrical switchboard enclosures.


Job Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and assemble sheet metal enclosures, frames, and structural components.
  • Interpret and work from fabrication drawings and specifications.
  • Operate fabrication tools such as press brakes, shears, drill presses, grinders, and welding equipment.
  • Perform cutting, bending, drilling, and finishing work to meet quality and dimensional requirements.
  • Coordinate with electrical assembly teams for panel and component layouts.
  • Ensure compliance with workshop safety and quality standards.

Qualifications
  • Vocational / Technical Certificate in Sheet Metal Fabrication, Welding, Industrial Technology, or related course.
  • At least 2 years experience in sheet metal fabrication or electrical panel/switchboard assembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
  • Skilled in the use of fabrication tools and workshop equipment.
  • Willing to be assigned to Somersby, Australia.

Preferred / Advantage
  • Experience working on electrical switchboard enclosures.
  • MIG/TIG welding experience.
  • Basic understanding of electrical component layouts.
